This exciting Egyptian music CD has just been released and is a must for your belly
dance collection. I was honored when Dr. Samy Farag asked me to be the model for this CD
which features 4 photos with an additional fold-out photo in the middle. My photographer,
Kal and I, flew our private jet to the Jordanian desert. We found the sand was a bit too
"orangy" there, plus there were rocks in the Mount Nebo area, so we moved on
over to the birthplace of Jesus on the River Jordan.... |

| We ended up getting eaten alive by mosquitos,
and the heat near the Dead Sea was overwhleming. We made the decision to rent a private
helicopter to cross The Red Sea at Aqaba and pop on over to Egypt. The pyramids were not
an option because they were flooded with tourists. So, we opted for some beautiful white
dunes a few miles away. Camels ended up eating our sandals and a sand storm almost
destroyed our film, but we think the photos that survived came out pretty good. You can
see them on "Jewel of the Desert." |
